There are four key ways you can contribute to the Homeless Gear effort.
Donate Gear: Please see our “Product Donations” page for a complete list of the items we are collecting and also view this page for the locations and hours of our drop off centers.
Organize a Gear Drive: This is largely a grass roots effort and we depend heavily on word of mouth to help spread our message. Consider organizing a gear drive within a group that you are associated with. This is a perfect volunteer activity for an individual, group, scout troop, business, or other community organization. We can customize a product drive that would be most suitable for the group involved. Call us and let’s talk about the possibilities.
Volunteer: We would love to have your help! We have regularily scheduled monthy events (collecting, sorting, and distributing) and many special projects. Please see the “Volunteer Opportunities” page of our website for more details. We have volunteer opportunities for adults, families, kids and groups of all sizes.
Donate Cash: If you like what we are doing but simply don’t have the gear to donate please consider giving us a tax deductible cash contribution. We are a private non profit program and not funded by any local, state, or federal agency. We depend on cash donations to support for our two part time staff members and to purchase product in bulk (socks, rain ponchos, tarps, gloves, day packs, and other items that can not be collected in the quantities needed to meet the needs of those we serve).

Please specify “Homeless Gear Fund” in the designation field of the donation form.
